Adam’s Founder Coaching Philosophy and Approach
“Mentorship Coaching”
I believe you need to understand yourself as much as you do your business, and that bridging the gap between personal growth and business strategy is critical to a healthy life and successful venture.
I’m experienced in working with clients across the spectrum between both extremes of soft and hard skills. Some of the topics I cover with clients include: helping overcome imposter syndrome and the challenges of transitioning into a new identity as an entrepreneur and founder, working on cofounder relationships, communication and delegation, building and leading great teams; and more tactical hard skills such as boiling down your venture idea to it’s most essential and compelling narrative, and crafting that narrative into an effective and concise pitch and deck; being an effective early-stage product manager; providing critique and constructive feedback on your business model and product; strategizing how to best interact with investors; and providing general support as an ongoing experienced sounding board and co-pilot.
Over the years I’ve developed an approach I call Mentorship Coaching. Each coaching relationship typically starts with gathering insights via an intro session interview, validated psychometric survey, and guided self-inquiry. From there, I use my skills as a coach and extensive experience in startups to design a coaching program personalized to the client; weaving together aspects of traditional coaching and advisor-like mentorship based on their needs and goals.
I’m an endlessly curious operator, constantly learning by doing. Outside of coaching, I remain an active entrepreneur, investor, producer, and advisor. Including in 2021 when I took an opportunity to lead product at a fast-growing construction tech company following their Series A raise where I designed and implemented their product process and grew their product and engineering team from 3 to 18. I maintain a select roster of clients and currently have limited openings. To see if you’re a fit, Schedule a Call.
